Additive manufacturing / Industrial 3D printing Stereolithography (SLA) in epoxy resin

Stereolithography (SLA) is an additive manufacturing process that produces photopolymerizable epoxy resin parts with a very high level of precision. Layer by layer, a laser beam polymerizes the liquid resin to create complex geometries impossible to achieve through traditional processes. This technology is particularly suited for producing prototypes, functional parts, and short runs, when dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and fine details are essential.

The advantages:

• Very high dimensional accuracy and excellent repeatability.
• Exceptional surface quality, limiting finishing operations.
• Faithful reproduction of details and complex geometries.
• Fast manufacturing lead times, from single parts to short runs.
• Manufacturing of custom parts meeting the requirements of each project.

The applications

• Aesthetic and functional prototypes
• Design validation
• High-precision technical parts
• Tooling and jigs
• Models and demonstrators
• Pre-series and short runs

Why choose stereolithography?

Stereolithography is an ideal solution for accelerating the development of new products while guaranteeing high manufacturing quality. It allows for parts with performance close to that of final parts, while offering great design freedom and reduced turnaround times. At INNOWER, this technology is implemented using a technical epoxy resin to meet the requirements of the industrial, medical, dental, and research sectors.

Vacuum casting / Silicone molding

Vacuum casting is a manufacturing process that produces polyurethane (PU) resin parts from a silicone mold made over a master model (3D printed or machined). This technology is particularly suited for manufacturing functional prototypes, pre-series, and short runs of parts requiring a high level of finish. Thanks to the vacuum, the resin is injected without air bubbles, guaranteeing excellent surface quality, high reproduction fidelity, and homogeneous mechanical properties.

The advantages:

• Low investment compared to an injection mold.
• Fast production from a few pieces to several dozen copies.
• Excellent surface quality, close to injection-molded parts.
• Very faithful reproduction of details and textures.
• Wide choice of PU resins: rigid, flexible, transparent, high temperature, filled, etc.
• Bulk coloring according to your needs.
• Ideal for functional, aesthetic, and commercial validations before industrialization.
• Short lead times, generally from a few days to a few weeks depending on the project.

The applications:

• Functional prototypes
• Pre-series
• Short production runs
• Technical parts
• Covers and housings
• Appearance parts
• Validation before plastic injection

Why choosing this technology?

This technology represents an economical and high-performance solution for obtaining industrial-quality parts without incurring the cost of metal tooling. It is particularly relevant when volumes range from a few units to around a hundred parts

INNOWER Industrie supports manufacturers in producing prototypes, technical parts, and functional components, using additive manufacturing and vacuum casting technologies since 2014.
From prototype to small-series production, we offer solutions tailored to each project, with a wide choice of materials, finishes, and colors, as well as the option to integrate machined parts.
